Losing a loved one can be an incredibly isolating experience, and finding the right support can be difficult. That’s why Regency Funeral Directors are proud to introduce our Bereavement Café in partnership with Sue Ryder—a warm and welcoming space for those navigating grief.
Beginning Thursday, 27th February 2025, we will be hosting a weekly bereavement café at Oliver’s Café in Kimbolton from 10 am – 12 pm, offering a place where anyone struggling with loss can come together, share, listen, or simply be in the company of those who understand.
This initiative is part of Sue Ryder’s Grief Kind Spaces, a network of community-led bereavement groups designed to provide comfort and support in a relaxed and informal environment.
A Bereavement Café is a free, open space for those experiencing loss to come together over a cup of tea or coffee. There’s no structure, no pressure to talk—just an opportunity to connect with others who understand and receive support in a compassionate, complete non-judgemental setting.
Whether you want to share your story, listen to others, or simply sit quietly in the company of people who have been through similar life experiences, the Bereavement Café is here for you.
The Bereavement Café is open to everyone. There is no need to book, and no formalities—just drop in whenever you feel like it. Whether you’ve recently lost someone or have been grieving for years, this space is here for you.

At Regency Funeral Directors, we don’t just support families during the funeral process—we want to continue offering care beyond the service. Grief can be a lonely road, and it helps to have a space where people can connect, listen, and share their emotions without judgement.
Sue Ryder’s Grief Kind Spaces are designed to ensure that no one has to go through grief alone. We are honoured to bring this initiative to our local community and offer a place where people feel heard, supported, and understood.
