John David Hilton very peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on 29th April 2024. Born on 5th June 1926, he touched the lives of many with his warmth, humour, and intelligence.
David’s passion was Naval History through which he had many friends, he was a great raconteur who enjoyed good company and lived life to the full. A devoted husband to his late wife Eleanor, father, and friend, David will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In honour of David's memory, his family kindly requests donations to Addenbrookes Hospital Charity.
A celebration of his life will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, 29th May 2024, at Huntingdon Crematorium. The family would like to welcome you to a reception afterwards which will be held at 1:30pm at The Plough at Bolnhurst, Kimbolton Road, Bolnhurst, Bedford, MK44 2EX.
